"Before
taking the basic sailing course I didn't know the difference between
a beat or a batten, a jib or jibe and I couldn't tell you what I
thought a broad reach was, but after taking the course I am no longer
intimidated by sailing. I have gained the confidence required to
sail, I have a thorough understanding of the vocabulary and the
workings of a sailboat, as well as the navigational rules of the
water. Capt. Virgil made the learning fun and stress free just as
sailing should be."
